3 BILLION YEARS AGO

Pure thermal plankton or Vitroscilla Filiformis, one the first earth's life forms, appears.

50 B.C.

Legend has it that Gallo-roman warriors went to Pyrenees mountains' thermal springs to healtheir wounds after battle.

1935

A spa dermatologist discovered that the Pyrenees spring water contained Thermal Plankton,and that its composition is comparable to key elements found in the skin.

1952

BIOTHERM is born, aiding the BIOLOGY of the skin with THERMAL PLANKTON.

1985

Biotherm launches ACTIF R, the fist anti-wrinkle moisturizer for men. BIOTHERM HOMME is born.

1994

After two decades of research, Biotherm's biologists managed to isolate the most active part of Thermal Plankton and to reproduce it by bio-fermentation under an ECOCERT process.

2001
